Following in his father George’s footsteps, director Cameron Romero is a filmmaker with something to say; and in the new trailer for his latest film, Radical, that he sent exclusively our way, his message is loud and frighteningly clear.
Radical centers on the story of three members of the American press being held captive by a calculating terrorist who taunts the US government with his arrogance and technological savvy.
The isolation piece stars Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan, Heat), Ford Austin (Dahmer vs. Gacy, The Auctioneers), Josh Carmichael, Shahe Assilian and BJ Hendricks (The Great Buck Howard, Staunton Hill) and marks a reunion for many cast members who have worked with Romero in the past.
“This is the real horror that people go through every day around the world, and the media always seem to cover it from a higher place or a conceptual level,” Romero told us. “I think it’s because it seems unbearable to think about individuals who go through horrible experiences and what it must be like during that time for them. That’s where RADICAL came from.”
