Connie Britton Ready to Tackle an American Horror Story
More casting news coming in for yet another upcoming genre themed television pilot. Lord knows we haven't had much TV news lately. Read on for the details.
According to The Hollywood Reporter the always gorgeous Connie Britton (pictured right; "Friday Night Lights", A Nightmare on Elm Street) has been tapped to star in "American Horror Story", the FX pilot from "Glee"’s Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
While details on the project remain sparse, FX chief John Landgraf was particularly enthusiastic about its prospects in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter earlier this week, calling the project a “really complicated, interesting psychological horror show ... incredibly ambitious. It could define or redefine the genres that [it’s] in.”
I guess we'll soon see. More on this as it comes.
