It’s been nearly a year since there was last anything to talk about regarding the upcoming low-budget monster hunt from Chapman Filmed Entertainment, Trigger, but finally some new casting news has emerged. Read on for details.

According to Screen Daily Scott Glenn has signed on to the flick to appear alongside the previously announced Stephen Tobolowsky and Chris Coy. Basel Owies directs from a script by Max Enscoe. Principal photography is set to begin later this month in California.

A character-driven thriller, Trigger examines two men fixated on what triggers the enormity of evil: a father whose life is destroyed in pursuit of a monster, a son caught in a deadly charade as he tries to unravel his father’s obsession.
