Frances Conroy Talks American Horror Story Season 3

The veil of silence surrounding the goings-on pertaining to the upcoming third season of “American Horror Story” has truly been a heavy and well secured one, but one of its returning stars has lifted it just an inch for you. Read on for the latest from Frances Conroy on her upcoming role.

Shock Till You Drop caught up with Conroy recently, and she had this to say, “It’s going to start up again in July or August in New Orleans; I’ll be part [of] that and will have a fairly substantial part in it,” Conroy told them. “I’ll be in 10 of the episodes of what I think will be a 13-part season. That will be interesting to see what’s written; the writers are so good, and I can’t wait to see where it goes.” Asked if she, too, can confirm the witchcraft angle, she answered, “I know there’s been a little bit of teasing, [but] they’re trying to keep it all hush-hush so there are surprises. I’m interested in seeing what world we’ll inhabit.”

Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Kathy Bates, and Jessica Lange, who won an Emmy for her Season 1 performance, all star.
