New American Horror Story Season 3 Plot Details Revealed?

During the Salute to Ryan Murphy portion of the 2013 PaleyFest, “American Horror Story” Seasons 1 and 2 star Dylan McDermott may have let slip a very interesting detail regarding the character to be played by the recently announced Kathy Bates.

During an interview with E! Online, McDermott was asked about Kathy Bates and how perfect she is for the show, and here is what he had to say:

“She really is. All the witches of Salem… there’s plenty of them!”

As for whether or not he’ll be back for Chapter 3, McDermott isn’t sure because he’s working on a pilot right now, but he did say he could “juggle both.”

Bates, whose character will play the best friend of Jessica Lange’s, joins the previously announced Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, and of course Lange, who won an Emmy for her Season 1 performance.
