We’ve been talking about Albert Pyun’s Road to Hell for some time now, and if you live in or near Chicago, you can check out the Midwest premiere of the film in a “Triple Threat” along with Pyun’s Cyborg and Nemesis director’s cuts.
Road to Hell was written by Cynthia Curnan and is the unofficial sequel to the 1984 rock & roll fable Streets of Fire. Below you’ll find a few new videos from the flick that were recently posted online by Pyun.
Here are the details of the “Triple Threat” from the Patio Theatre website, where you can also buy tickets to the event for just $12 each. There’s also a “Triple Threat” Facebook event page so be sure to RSVP there if you plan to attend.
On Saturday, March 9th, the Patio Theatre (6008 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60634; (773) 685-4291) will screen three of director Albert Pyun’s films from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight as part of the Triple Threat Film Fest. These movies are Nemesis, Cyborg, and the Chicago premiere of Road to Hell, Albert’s follow-up to Streets of Fire. Director Albert Pyun and producer-screenwriter Cynthia Curnan will be in attendance. Albert will be making presentations and greeting fans individually. You can bring items for him to sign at no charge or purchase DVDs, soundtracks, and posters available at his table.
