One of the coolest things about Tommy Wirkola’s Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters is the film’s practical FX work. Especially for the character of “Edward,” which Derek Mears brought to life. Today Spectral Motion released a new video featuring the behemoth’s head that just warms our bloody hearts.

Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star as the famous siblings, and the storyline picks up 15 years after their traumatic gingerbread house incident, which provoked them to become witch bounty hunters. Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Thomas Mann, Derek Mears, and Ingrid Bolsø Berdal also star.

Synopsis:
After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel (Renner) and Gretel (Arterton) have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell-bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted and must face an evil far greater than witches… their past.
