With its January 31st premiere looming, NBC has released a big batch of stills for the “Pilot” episode of “Do No Harm” along with official synopses for both that ep and #1.02, “Don’t Answer the Phone.”

“Do No Harm” Episode 1.01 – “Pilot” (airs 1/31/13, 10-11 pm)
Renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Jason Cole (Steven Pasquale) has it all – including a dark secret. Every night at 8:25 pm, Jason’s body is overtaken by a dangerous alternate personality who goes by the name “Ian Price” (also Steven Pasquale). For years Jason has been able to restrain Ian with the help of an intense pharmaceutical cocktail – that is, until today. Now Ian is free and hell-bent on seeking revenge, which could jeopardize Jason’s life, career, and budding romance with Dr. Lena Solis (Alana De La Garza).

“Do No Harm” Episode 1.02 – “Don’t Answer the Phone” (airs 2/7/13, 10-11 pm)
Jason (Steven Pasquale), furious over Ian’s (also Steven Pasquale) out of control spending, cuts off his cash flow… only to wake up at the wheel of a “borrowed” sports car with a trunk full of money and an angry drug dealer in his rearview mirror. Meanwhile, Jason and Lena (Alana de la Garza) have a falling out over Jason’s questionable conduct, which prompts Ian to make a dangerous after-hours visit to Lena. Dr. Kenneth Jordan (Michael Esper) is also growing suspicious of Jason’s odd behavior and demands answers from Jason’s confidante, Dr. Ruben Marcado (Lin-Manuel Miranda). And Olivia (Ruta Gedmintas) fears her son’s new imaginary friend is not so imaginary after all.

“Do No Harm” is produced by Universal Television and Traugott Company. The executive producer/writer is David Schulner (“Desperate Housewives,” “The Event”). Peter Traugott (“Ringer”) and Rachel Kaplan (“Ringer”) also are executive producers. Michael Mayer (NBC’s “Smash”) is the co-executive producer and director.
