One of our favorite actors around these parts is undoubtedly veteran character actor Danny Trejo, who has appeared in almost 250 projects during his illustrious 30-year career.

In his latest, Death Race 3: Inferno, we find him battling alongside franchise star Luke Goss against corrupt forces that are working against them, keeping the men and their race team locked away in a dangerous South African prison as part of the first-ever “Death Race” in the desert.

Arriving on Blu-Ray and DVD January 22nd courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment, Death Race 3: Inferno was directed by Roel Reiné and also stars Ving Rhames, Dougray Scott, Tanit Phoenix, Robin Shou and Fred Koehler.

During a recent press day for Death Race 3: Inferno, Dread Central had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Trejo exclusively to hear more about his experiences filming the sequel in South Africa, how his character “Goldberg” is having a lot more fun this time around and much more.
