Two bits of news for you fans of the AMC series “The Walking Dead”: We have the official one-sheet for the return of the series, which is right around the corner, as well as more on the whole Glen Mazzara exiting as showrunner situation.
According to THR it turns out that instead of an agreed upon mutual split, Mazzara may have been straight up fired. Says the site: “One source says Mazzara’s shortcomings in running the series during the most recent third season became ‘abundantly clear … especially for the second half of the season.’ This source says production was shut down ‘several times’ because of a ‘lack of material’.”
Mazzara has yet to comment.
