Telenovelas are sacred ground for millions of Spanish-speaking fans around the world, but with the addition of Eli Roth to “Ataque Al Corazon” (“Attack the Heart”) as Dr. Zacarias, these televised affairs of the heart have never been bloodier.

Our compadres over at Latino Review drew our attention to the following clip, which offers a hell of a lot more grue than it does boohoo. “Ataque Al Corazon” is the telenovela that the characters from the upcoming film Que Pena Tu Familia watch. That flick drops in Chile next week, and it is the third film in the hilarious Que Pena series from Aftershock director Nicolas Lopez.
