Anne Rice Announces Sequel to The Wolf Gift – The Wolves of Midwinter

Earlier this year author Anne Rice teased that she had completed her latest novel and would be sharing more information with her fans shortly. Well, that day has finally come, and we have all the details right here!

Here’s what Anne told her fans via her Facebook page:

The Wolves of Midwinter will be my next published book, coming out in October of 2013. It’s a sequel to The Wolf Gift, focusing on how Reuben and the Morphenkinder of Nideck Point celebrate Christmas with their human neighbors and loved ones, and how they celebrate their own secret Yuletide rituals deep in the Nideck forest. New characters, new secrets, new mysteries will be revealed. It’s a pleasure to be able to announce the book.

We were pretty big fans of The Wolf Gift (review here) so are anxious to see where she takes the character of Reuben Golding, the man-wolf hero of the tale, especially since we’ll be seeing more of the Morphenkinder. Although having to wait until next October won’t be much fun.
