It’s been about three years since Something Wicked, which marked Brittany Murphy’s final film appearance, wrapped; and finally the flick has made its way out of post-production. Read on for the latest.

Fans of the late actress Brittany Murphy will no longer have to wait to see the beloved star in her last role. Something Wicked, Murphy’s final film, has completed post-production and will be presented to distributors in the next few weeks. Fans can follow the Something Wicked Facebook page for updates.
The film completed production in late 2009 but was delayed in post due to the tragic death of Murphy. In addition to Murphy’s performance as Susan, the moral center of the film, Something Wicked stars Shantel VanSanten (“One Tree Hill,” Final Destination), Julian Morris (Valkyrie, “Pretty Little Liars”), John Robinson (Elephant, Lords of Dogtown), James Patrick Stuart (“Supernatural”) and introducing Angelique Perrin.
A suspenseful thriller about obsession and young love gone wrong, Something Wicked is a Merchant Films production, directed by Darin Scott, written and produced by Joe Colleran.
Synopsis
A devoted young couple (Shantel VanSanten and John Robinson) embark upon their honeymoon against the chilling landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. But when tragedy strikes, unspeakable secrets from their past collide with sinister forces of the present to ensure that this couple will not live happily ever after
