Christian Slater Ready for Some Playback!

It's been about a month since last we spoke of the new supernatural teen thriller Playback, but some star power has been added to the cast that we just have to talk about!

According to Variety Christian Slater has been added to the cast of the demonic monster mash, and he'll be joining the previously announced Johnny Pacar, Toby Hemingway, Brooke Smith, Alessandra Torresani, Jonathan Keltz, Ambyr Childers, Daryl Mitchell and Jennifer Missoni.

In the movie the teenage motley crew will play high school students who unleash a demon that possesses its victims through video playback. Through this, a town's dark secret comes to light.

Michael A. Nickles is directing for Emmett Furla Films. Shooting has begun in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Look for more soon.
