We’ve been sporadic at best with our coverage of ABC’s “666 Park Avenue,” mainly because we didn’t think it’d last long given its low ratings. In any event, here’s a look at the show’s upcoming guest star Whoopi Goldberg in character from Episode 1.09, “Hypnos.”
“666 Park Avenue” – Episode 1.09 – “Hypnos” (12/2/12 airdate):
Jane is sent back in time when she is hypnotized by Maris Elder (Whoopi Goldberg); Henry considers running for city council; Sasha’s identity is revealed.
Executive producer David Wilcox told TV Guide, Elder is “a mysterious resident of the Drake who helps Jane unlock the secret of the building’s true evil origins. Whoopi’s an incredible actor so when we heard that she was a horror fan, we wrote the role for her.”
“666 Park Avenue” stars Rachael Taylor (“Charlie’s Angels,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” Transformers) as Jane Van Veen, Dave Annable (“Brothers & Sisters,” “Reunion”) as Henry Martin, Robert Buckley (“One Tree Hill,” “Lipstick Jungle”) as Brian Leonard, Mercedes Masöhn (“The Finder,” “Chuck,” “Three Rivers”) as Louise Leonard, Helena Mattsson (Iron Man 2, “Nikita,” “Desperate Housewives”) as Alexis Blume, and Samantha Logan as Nona Clark, with Vanessa Williams (“Desperate Housewives,” “Ugly Betty,” Shaft, Soul Food) as Olivia Doran and Terry O’Quinn (“Lost,” “Millennium,” “Hawaii Five-0,” “Alias,” “The West Wing,” “Jag”) as Gavin Doran.
