Synopsis
Jaws... lots and lots of jaws. From acclaimed director Alexandre Aja (The Hills Have Eyes) comes the new action thriller PIRANHA 3D, in the latest eye-popping 3D technology. A new type of terror is about to be cut loose on beautiful Lake Victoria. After a sudden underwater tremor sets free scores of the prehistoric man-eating fish, an unlikely group of strangers must band together to stop themselves from becoming fish food for the area’s new razor-toothed residents. But our heroine (Elisabeth Shue) is seriously outnumbered, and with only one chance to save the lake and her family from totally being devoured, she must risk everything to destroy the aquatic carnivores herself.

I was the first to rag on the film after the first trailer. However, after reading the Aja interview in Fangoria about the movie, and seeing this footage, I was wrong. The fish still look really terrible but the gore has me sold.

Yeah, I'm there. They had me the moment the one woman inadvertently separated along her midsection while the two guys were carrying her. That was epic.
One thing that I would have liked to see happen though..Ving Rhames telling people during the aftermath about what a collective group of dumbasses they are for not listening when he announced there was an emergency. How funny would that have been? I can envision Rhames dragging a bloody, sobbing, partially eaten collegiate to the shore while grumbling "Yeah, you thought you were being smart, motherfucker. Look at your sorry ass now."

I was really looking forward to this film but after seeing that wow i am very unimpressed..sure there is lots of carnage however the Cgi gore looks terrible and so do the Cgi pirahnas
