Tarantino’s ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD Gets 7-Minute Standing Ovation at Cannes; 93% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes

Quentin Tarantino’s 9th film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, premiered at Cannes 2019 yesterday and received a 7-minute standing ovation upon its conclusion. It’s a story about Hollywood’s fading glory days juxtaposed against the terrifying Manson Family murders that paralyzed Los Angeles in the late 1960s.

Synopsis:
A faded television actor and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood’s Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood stars Leonardo Di Caprio as Rick Dalton; Brad Pitt stars opposite DiCaprio as stuntman Cliff Booth; Margot Robbie will play Sharon Tate, Dakota Fanning will play Squeaky Fromme, Al Pacino will play Marvin Shwarz, and Damian Lewis will play Steve McQueen. Addition cast members include Kurt Russell, Timothy Olyphant, Margaret Qualley, Tim Roth, and the late Luke Perry.

Look for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to hit US theaters beginning July 26th.
