Max Thieriot and Jennifer Lawrence Move into the House at the End of the Street

Every house needs some kids to move in, have fun, and then invite friends over to. If only so that they can all be slaughtered one after the other for our horror loving enjoyment! Never let it be said that we don't have a soft spot for children!

According to The Hollywood Reporter both Jennifer Lawrence and Max Thieriot will be starring in House at the End of the Street, a horror thriller that will be directed by Mark Tonderai.

The flick reportedly centers on a teen girl (Lawrence) who moves with her mom to a new town and learns that their home is across the street from a house where a double murder took place. Complications ensue when the teen befriends the massacre's sole surviving son (Thieriot).

FilmNation's Aaron Ryder and Peter Block of A Bigger Boat are producing with Tim Williams, Hal Lieberman and Jonathan Mostow. Mostow wrote the story on which the script, written by David Loucka, is based. Producers are looking at a mid-July start in Ottawa.

Hammer Films to Hold a Wake
Words cannot describe how fully elated we are that Hammer has risen from the grave -- if only for their adaptation of Susan Hill's The Woman in Black! That is far from the only thing that they have cookin' however as another project can be safely added to the pile.
