The First Video Preview for The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Has Arrived

“The Vampire Diaries” returns to The CW on Thursday, October 11th; and a preview of the first episode of Season 4 has arrived. Just beware: Your heart might also stop when you watch this.
Originally we heard the first ep would be called “Growing Pains,” but this video is entitled “Vampire Soul.” We should get clarification shortly, though, when The CW releases the official synopsis. In the meantime here’s a general overview of Season Four:
Season Four begins with the knowledge that everything is changing. As Elena and her friends enter into the final stretch of high school before graduation sends them off on different paths, their bond to their home town of Mystic Falls takes on a deeper meaning when a new villain seems intent on destroying it.
