A Haunting in Georgia Finds Its DirectorFinally a director has been named for Gold Circle Films’ sequel to the hit spooker A Haunting in Connecticut. Someone who’s very well schooled in the way the first film was put together.

According to The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision Blog Tom Elkins, who served as editor on Connecticut as well as Wanted and The Da Vinci Code, will be making his directorial debut with A Haunting in Georgia.

A Haunting in Georgia will focus on “the chilling story of four-year-old Heidi and her imaginary friends, Mr. Gordy and Con. As Heidi reveals mysterious details about the two, her parents become concerned … could her playmates be more than make-believe? When the rest of the family begins experiencing terrifying phenomena — waking with deep gashes on their bodies — it seems there’s little they can do to stop the escalating nightmare.

Look for the flick to begin production in August.
