The First Still Arrives from The Vampire Diaries Episode 4.01 – Growing Pains

“The Vampire Diaries” returns to The CW on Thursday, October 11th, and the first still from Episode 4.01, “Growing Pains,” has arrived. It features two of our favorite characters, whom we’re hoping get better storylines this season: Jeremy and Bonnie.

TVLine’s Fall TV Preview is under way, and as part of it they posted this pic of Kat Graham and Steven R. McQueen along with a quote from executive producer Julie Plec, “[The pair] are very bonded to each other. In spite of having found a piece of closure in their relationship, they will continue to be drawn to each other emotionally. Whether it’s romantic or not, I can’t really say.”

Season 4 Synopsis:
Season Four begins with the knowledge that everything is changing. As Elena and her friends enter into the final stretch of high school before graduation sends them off on different paths, their bond to their home town of Mystic Falls takes on a deeper meaning when a new villain seems intent on destroying it.
