From the Press Release
MassConcerts and Rock and Shock are honored to announce the addition of Danny Trejo to the guest roster for this year’s event. You wanted the best…you got the best. The man who is known for his very distinctive appearance – usually sporting a long mustache, menacing scowl and fierce tattoos – is back for this year’s convention! He’s one of our favorite villains who is most famous for his roles in such films as Machete, The Devil’s Rejects, Spy Kids, Grindhouse, From Dusk Till Dawn, Halloween 07 and Predators. He is also well-known from his appearances in the award wining TV series “Breaking Bad,” the American television series drama “Sons of Anarchy” and many more.
Danny also stars in the award-winning independent film Champion, which was released in 2005 documenting Trejo’s life. Behind the ink and the wicked characters he plays on screen lies the story of a sad and troubled childhood. Champion offers an intimate, one of a kind view into the life of Danny Trejo before he turned himself around and after. He’s currently preparing to launch TREJO, a limited edition print and digital magazine. TREJO was created in collaboration with MYMAG. It will mix his favorite articles with content from Danny himself which presents an in-depth look at the long and varied history of this unlikely action hero and Hollywood insider. In addition to all this he’s also finishing up the sequel to Machete – Machete Kills. Don’t miss your chance to meet this iconic tough guy.
