You Won’t Need to #HoldYourBreath Any Longer to See the Trailer for The Asylum’s First Theatrical Release

Post Thumb:

With its October 5th theatrical date just a few weeks away, The Asylum has finally exhaled the trailer for #HoldYourBreath, its first foray into big screen moviemaking, starring Katrina Bowden of Tucker & Dale vs. Evil

…and a body-jumping psychopath raised from the dead after someone forgot to abide by the movie’s title.

Jared Cohn directs the Geoff Mead scripted supernatural slasher based on an old wives’ tale that instructs you to hold your breath when passing by a cemetery lest you risk inhaling an evil spirit. In the movie a group of friends (including Katrina Bowden of “30 Rock”, Randy Wayne of “The Lying Game”, and ERIN MARIE HOGAN) embark on a road trip to explore a cemetery, where the ghost of a notorious serial killer jumps from body to body, killing his victims one by one.

#HoldYourBreath is due for a limited theatrical release October 5th. You can watch the trailer below and marvel at knowing this was made by the same company behind Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus and not the After Dark HorrorFest.

Damn. Why don’t they try something like a monster movie. Mega Shark vs. whatever as long as its fun. And that “artwork” is beyond terrible.

  • Terminal

The title being a hash tag is incredibly obnoxious.

  • Vanvance1

It looks so cliched and badly acted that it’s hard to get interested. If a short trailer is boring an hour and a half movie is likely to be worse.
