Exclusive Book Preview Trailer: Douglas Clegg's Neverland

Horror scribe Douglas Clegg (Nightmare House, Afterlife, and a slew of others) will have a new book, Neverland, out in a couple of weeks.

Neverland, according to the press release, is "...the story of a family vacation gone terribly wrong, a novel about the lies adults tell and the destruction they wreak on the innocents around them."

When Beau travels to his grandmother's eerie mansion for a family vacation, he and his cousin venture out to a little shack that's full of old Playboys and smuggled beers, despite warnings, to play a few innocent games. But the games take an insidious supernatural turn as things get terrifyingly out of hand.

With Neverland Clegg delivers a masterpiece of Southern Gothic horror that promises to frighten and disturb. Of course we'll have a full review when the book is released.

In addition, Clegg is running a contest on his website, the winner of which will receive a free Kindle or Nook (your choice), all for signing up for his newsletter. Everyone who enters will get instant access to the exclusive e-books The Dark Game, The Wolf, Halloween Candy and more -- as well as screensavers and other bonus content.

So, this isn't about the horrors at the Neverland ranch?

It's nice to see this being reprinted. I've been a big fan of Douglas Clegg for years; I've still got a paperback copy of 'Neverland' from the early '90s.
