Post Thumb:

A new poster for Resident Evil: Retribution is here and of course it features more of star Milla Jovovich. This time she’s facing forward holding guns while aircraft loom menacingly in the distance. Yep. Sounds about right.

Written and directed by Paul Anderson, Resident Evil: Retribution stars Milla Jovovich, Boris Kodjoe, Li Bingbing, Kevin Durand, Shawn Roberts, Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory, Johann Urb, and Colin Salmon. Look for Resident Evil: Retribution in theatres on September 14, 2012, from Screen Gems.

The Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice, awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

“The Ultimate Battle Begins”? This is the fifth movie. None of the other movies were an “ultimate battle”? God damn the tag lines are as uninventive as the movies…

Is it just me or do posters in general seem to get less imaginative the closer to release? There’s some exceptions; but for me, the initial teasers and one-sheets are almost always better than the ones just before or “the final”.

These RE posters are just fap material for Paul Anderson. If people only looked at the posters, they wouldn’t know what the movie was about or if there were even other people in this movie.
