Goblin and Russia Team to Bring a Pool Full of Horror to the Olympics!

Goblin and Russia Team to Bring a Pool Full of Horror to the Olympics! Here at Dread Central we’re not exactly big on the Olympic Games. Don’t get us wrong; we have lots of pride in Team USA, but we prefer our entertainment to be a bit darker. Thankfully the Russian synchronized swimming duet team brought something to the table we could get behind!

In the video below from last April, you’ll see Natalia Ischenko and Svetlana Romashina practicing their routine at the Aquatic Centre in London to the tune of Goblin’s theme from the Dario Argento classic Suspiria. Ischenko and Romashina reprised their performance – once again using the Suspiria score – during the Olympics today! Expect video from that soon.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

The Olympics is a horror. The ultimate parasite. It comes to your city and costs hundreds of millions of dollars. There are secret bribes to the Olympic commity and hidden money for the politicians who support it.

When it arrives in your city said city becomes a police state. Tens of millions (or more) are spent on additional ‘security’. In this case that means crushing all verbal or visual dissent. Having experienced an Olympics I suddenly understood just how totalitarian a government can be. It changes your views about how much real freedom you have.

If you think all of this is overblown rhetoric please start researching the subject. You’ll find a lot of information about the string of cost corpses the Olympics has left behind.

There is no pride or triumph here, only concentrated evil.
