The Playlist reports that Soderbergh (pictured right) will be directing Contagion from the white-hot script by Scott Z. Burns. Even at this early stage the project has already attracted the likes of Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Marion Cotillard who all have deals closing to star in the film. While details aren't in abundance we do know that the story centers on an outbreak of a deadly disease and that the film will have many different plot strings just like Soderbergh's award-winning effort Traffic.
