You know, MTV really hasn’t been doing too badly when it comes to horror programming. Their Super Psycho Sweet Sixteen flicks are way better than you’d think, and even “Teen Wolf” is deserving of some well placed merit. Now they’re read to go bump in the night.
According to THR, the network is currently developing an hour-long “found-footage mystery” project in the style of Paranormal Activity, titled “The Experiment.” The scripted effort is based on a story by Brian Horiuchi (Terminal D) and Miguel Sapochnik (“House”), with Paranormal’s Jason Blum (“The River”) executive producing through his Blumhouse Productions. Naomi Despres (The English Teacher) is also attached as an executive producer, with Horiuchi set to write and Sapochnik on board to direct.
