The Collector DVD Release in April?!?

default-featured-image

Now mind you this is just rumor for now, but if proven true, it will probably be one of the longest theatrical to DVD transitions ever.

VideoETA, which is usually pretty reliable, reports that The Collector is supposedly scheduled for home video release many months from now. April 2010 to be exact. Guess we will see what happens, but still … wow.

Co-written by Marcus Dunstan and his Feast and Saw IV thru VI collaborator Patrick Melton, The Collector was produced by Fortress Features’ Brett Forbes and Patrick Rizzotti and Imaginarium Entertainment Group’s Julie Richardson and stars Josh Stewart (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Criminal Minds) as “handyman and ex-con Arkin (according to Liddell Ent.’s pr), who aims to repay a debt to his ex-wife by robbing his new employer’s country home. Unfortunately for Arkin, a far worse enemy has already laid claim to the property – and the family. As the seconds tick down to midnight, Arkin becomes a reluctant hero trapped by a masked ‘Collector’ in a maze of lethal invention – the Spanish Inquisition as imagined by Rube Goldberg – while trying to rescue the very family he came to rob.”
