Boot and Rally: to throw up after excessively drinking, then continuing to party and drink more. Yep, that could certainly apply to several characters on “True Blood” after the events of tonight’s show. Maybe this preview of Episode 5.05, “Let’s Boot and Rally”, will narrow things down a bit.

Episode #53 (5.05): “Let’s Boot and Rally”: With time running short, Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) enlist Sookie (Anna Paquin) to probe for clues on Russell’s (Denis O’Hare) hiding place. Unable to deal with the demon magic inside him, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) calls out to Jesus’ (Kevin Alejandro) spirit for help. Patrick Devins (Scott Foley) and Terry (Todd Lowe) are held hostage in the bunker of their Iraq War buddy Brian Eller (Brian Geraghty). Jason (Ryan Kwanten) wakes to a disturbing dream; Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) gives Tara (Rutina Wesley) advice on adjusting to vampire life; Sam (Sam Trammell) visits Luna (Janina Gavankar) with bad news.
