New Characters to Watch for in Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries

Now that things have “changed” (pun intended) so much on “The Vampire Diaries”, we’re more than a little curious as to what new characters we might find in Mystic Falls during the upcoming Season 4, and with filming set to start shortly, brief descriptions have arrived for two of them.
ZAP2it tells us that first up is a 16-year-old girl named April. She’s from Mystic Falls originally so she remembers Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) from their childhood, but she’s been away at private school for the last few years. She decides to move back to town after a death in the family so when we first meet her, she’s grieving. All we know so far is that she’s smarter than first impressions may convey.
Next is Connor, a “scary hot, highly trained killing machine.”
Both roles are recurring and will be significant in the first part of the season. Look for more on them — and no doubt a few others — shortly!
