Richard Speck: one of America’s most notorious mass murderers, a man who tortured, raped, and murdered eight Chicago nurses one night in 1966, died in prison in 1991.
As evidenced by the trailer for the new found footage flick 100 Ghost Street: The Return of Richard Speck, he’s not too fond of camera crews either.
In 2010 paranormal investigators tried to film Richard Speck’s ghost at the site of his heinous killing spree. The victims’ families have finally released the footage that documents their last days.
100 Ghost Street: The Return of Richard Speck is the newest found footage flick from The Asylum based on the exploits of a real-life serial killer, following in the footsteps of 8213: Gacy House. The cast and crew are listed as “N/A” because, as is always the case with these Asylum found footage movies, they are 100% authentic.
The ghost of Richard Speck returns on July 24th when the movie begins haunting DVD and VOD. The trailer is available below, and as you will see, it looks like pretty much every other found footage flick made about ghost hunters getting more than they bargained for, better than some, worse than others. It certainly looks worlds better than that nothing happening Alien Origin found footage they released earlier this month.
