Well, someone was waiting for it, no? There have to be some Demonic Toys fans out there, right? Sometimes .... you guys are no fun. Nevertheless, check out the synopsis and the trailer for the first official sequel to the first film, Demonic Toys 2: Personal Demons.
Synopsis
Dr. Lorca from Hideous! (Michael Citrini) is back and is continuing to collect strange odditites, along with the help of Caitlin (Alli Kinzel) and her boyfriend David (Lane Compton). Along the way, they collect the mysterious pieces of the last Demonic Toys and they continue their search at a mysterious castle in Italy, where there have been rumors of a mysterious, ancient puppet alive and walking around, which is under the control of a mysterious demon, who takes on the human form of a little woman named Lilith (Selene Luna). When not looking, the puppet brings the Demonic Toys back to life, and now... blood, terror and death counts will rise again.

Wow!! I am possibly the biggest Demonic Toys fan on the planet....at one point I owned a screen-used Jack Attack puppet, and I still own the original piece of airbrushed concept art that got the film financed back in 1992...plus I own the DVD boxset, laserdiscs, and the comic books.
The production values in this look much better than any of the recent Full Moon offerings....I just hope it has the great tongue-in-cheek quality the original had, because this almost looks like it's taking itself a little too seriously. Fingers crossed!

Sweet! I didn't realize the trailer was on it's way. To whoever said this looks dated...well, duh, it's Full Moon. No one expects grade A effects, just a fun time. They have not been delivering on the fun lately, but between this trailer and the one for the new Puppet Master, I have high hopes that they are back on track. Both look like a blast, and more polished than anything else they have done for a long time.

I didn't even know about this one, but I will be all over this.
The original Demonic Toys was a total blast to watch when I was a kid. Give me part 2. Right now!

Count me in as someone who was waiting for this! Demonic Toys was one of the first films I watched when I was just getting into horror and it still has a special place in my heart, I even tracked down the comics and I'm in the process of reading them. I have high hopes for this grade-A cheese!
