Clive Barker's Dread on Facebook / Exclusive New Image

One of the bright spots of next year's After Dark Horrorfest (or should we say dark spots?) will no doubt be Anthony DiBlasi's big screen adaptation of Clive Barker's Dread (review here). We've got our hands on a couple of news bits that should help you get nice and geared up for the film's release.

First and foremost you can now check out the official Dread Facebook page, where you'll find the final one-sheet and several photos and extras. New things will be added on a regular basis until the film's release through After Dark Films on January 29th, 2010.

Dread is a psychological thriller centering on three college students who study other people’s fears. As the study progresses, one of the students begins to seek salvation from his obsession by exploiting the terrors of his fellow participants.

Exclusive: Shock Festival Wallpapers and Radio Spots
We told you a few weeks back that as a companion piece to his massive original book Shock Festival, Stephen Romano would be releasing a multi-volume DVD collection (also titled Shock Festival) of rarities he dug up with some friends that not only takes scenes from actual films but also incorporates the fictional previews for the movies from his book.
