Twilight Saga’s Ashley Greene May Be Seeing an Apparition

default-featured-image

Ashley GreeneNow that she’s gained the kind of notoriety most actors only dream of by portraying Alice Cullen, adopted “sister” of Edward, in The Twilight Saga, Ashley Greene is undoubtedly fielding offers left and right. It’s good to see her sticking with our genre as she appears to be in final talks to star in a new film entitled The Apparition.

As Variety reports, The Apparition, which is being readied by Joel Silver’s Dark Castle for a February 1, 2010, start date, centers on a young couple haunted by a supernatural presence that’s unleashed during a college experiment. [The] story’s inspired by true events.

Todd Lincoln, who penned one of the screenplay drafts for the long-delayed Hack/Slash film adaptation and served as a production assistant on From Dusk Till Dawn, is writing and directing the hopefully spooky thriller.

With its production kick-off fast approaching, look for more on The Apparition soon, especially who might be playing the other half of the haunted young couple. Another Twilight alum perhaps?
