Marc Haimes Gives Paramount the Jitters
Marc Haimes, who went from DreamWorks executive to screenwriter, has just sold his latest script, entitled Jitters to Paramount. The project will be produced by Benderspink, which also happens to be Haimes' management company.
Not a lot is known about Jitters other than what was reported in THR: It's a creepy family film in the early-'80s Amblin mold (think "Gremlins"). The sale comes just seven months after Haimes sold his first screenplay, the thriller "Elevator Men," to Summit Entertainment after leaving DreamWorks.
We'll be keeping an eye on this one as things progress so keep it here for more as it comes!
