Radio 66.6 - Weekly Music News from the Crypt: May 29th, 2012We’re back with another installment of Radio 66.6! This week features the latest news, music, videos and tour dates from the likes of Aerosmith, Linkin Park, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Evanescence, Hawthorne Heights, Hatebreed, Chevelle, Nile and more. The Dillinger Escape Plan posted a blog explaining that they are done with their current album cycle and are figuring out the next step.

Century Media Records has signed the New Hampshire-based black metal band Vattnet Viskar.

Hatebreed are currently in the studio self-producing their new album with co-producer assistance from Josh Wilbur and Chris “Zeuss” Harris. Says frontman Jamey Jasta, “This album is so heavy, it’s irresponsible.”

Stream Hawthorne Heights‘ new EP, Hope, here. It will be released on June 1 through their own Cardboard Empire. Who knew people still used Myspace?

Stream Phobia‘s new album, Remnants of Filth, here. The grindcore group’s fifth album will be released on June 5 via Willowtip.

Listen to a new Aerosmith song entitled “Legendary Child” here. It’s the first single from the band’s upcoming album Music From Another Dimension, which will be released on August 28.

Listen to a new Architects song entitled “Even If You Win, You’re Still A Rat” here. The track features guest vocals from Oli Sykes of Bring Me the Horizon. The band’s new album, Daybreaker, will be released on June 5 via Century Media Records.

Watch Linkin Park‘s music video for “Burn it Down” here. Looks like it has a bit of an H. R. Giger influence going on. The band’s new album, Living Things, will be released on June 26.

Watch For Today‘s music video for “Fearless” here. The Christian metalcore band’s new album, Immortal, is out this week on Razor & Tie Records.

Watch a lyric video for Memphis May Fire‘s “Prove Me Right” here. The band’s new album, Challenger, will be released on June 26 via Rise Records.

Watch Mastodon‘s live video for “All the Heavy Lifting” here. It was filmed at their February 11 show at London’s Brixton Academy.
