Writer/director Erik Gardner, the man who brought us The Mangler Reborn, is back with a teaser for his newest project, Blue Hole, which looks to be as different from his initial film as you could possibly get. Take a peek at this curious upcoming short.
Based in New Jersey, Blue Hole contains a story that makes the viewer question what’s real and what is delusion. The film won its first award this past weekend at The LA Fear & Fantasy Film Festival and is playing at Crypticon Seattle this weekend. Michael takes his fiancée, Amy, deep within the Pine Barrens of New Jersey to a vacation cabin where he plans to propose to her. Upon arriving, they’re attacked by a madman who claims an eerie pond near the cabin called Blue Hole can bring back the dead. Reality mixes with illusion as we try to figure out if Blue Hole is real or if our madman is truly insane.
