Good News for Comedown
A short while back we told you about a promising slasher flick coming out of the U.K., Comedown. Today we have some good news for the fledgling production, which is taking shape nicely.
Screen Daily reports that London-based sales outfit AV Pictures will begin presales for the "soon to shoot" horror flick. The film will follow six tearaways who become the target of a local psychopath after setting up a pirate radio station aerial in the condemned tower block where he lives. The cast is led by Martin Compston (pictured) while Geoff Bell will play the kids’ nemesis.
Comedown will shoot in London this coming March. Keep watching this space, folks; we’ll be following this one closely.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a story about Ridley Scott adapting Little Red Riding Hood (imagine that), but rather a police procedural thriller that Scott will direct from a Steven Zaillian script for Columbia Pictures.
