Twilight Saga: New Moon: First Look of Tinsel Korey as Emily
New Moon, the second installment in The Twilight Saga, looks to be putting its bloodsuckers on the back-burner and focusing on the wolf pack, which should bode well for expanding its fanbase to those who prefer lycans over vamps. And if the newly released photo of Tinsel Korey as Emily Young, who is like "a second mother to the pack", is any indication, those wolves have some pretty nasty claws!
Twilight Lexicon caught up with Korey at her first Twilight Convention in Chicago this weekend, where she displayed the following promotional shot, which gives a good indication of how realistic her character's scarred face will look in the film. The scars were inflicted by her Alpha male fiance Sam Utley (portrayed by Chaske Spencer) when he lost his temper and changed into a wolf while standing right next to her.

When asked to compare her recent experience with David Slade for Eclipse to the work she did on New Moon for Chris Weitz, Korey was diplomatic. She said that she likes both directors. They had different styles, both of which were good. Tinsel said that Slade is really funny and has a great dry British humor and was not at all the scary horror movie person she had first imagined.
New Moon premieres November 20th, 2009, with Eclipse following on June 30, 2010.

You'd think by now we would have heard about more cast members being attached to Nimrod Antal's Predators reboot than just Danny Trejo, but the filmmakers have been taking their sweet time in that regard. As a sign that maybe things are about to speed up a bit, we are able add one additional name to the list: Walton Goggins, better known as Detective Shane Vendrell of the acclaimed FX TV series "The Shield".
