Another still from the Chernobyl Diairies (look for a review soon) has landed in our laps, and this one shows off perfectly the kind of chills you’re in for when it comes to this pretty damned spooky flick! Check it out!
The Chernobyl Diaries team wants to bring their film to the cities that want them the most, and they’ve developed a great way to figure out just where to go. By visiting QuarantineYourCity.com, fans can vote for their home towns to be among the locations that will receive a screening of the film with special guests and surprises included.
Chernobyl Diaries is an original story from Oren Peli, who first terrified audiences with his groundbreaking thriller, Paranormal Activity. It’s written by Peli, Carey Van Dyke, and Shane Van Dyke and directed by Brad Parker. The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone.
