UPDATED: New Paranormal Activity Poster and Trailer!
There's been lots of movement and excitement lately regarding Paramount's release of Oren Peli's haunted house shocker Paranormal Activity (review here), and we expect that things are only going to get even crazier once you guys have a moment to check out the film's new poster and official trailer, which has just debuted on Apple.
After a young, middle class couple (Katie Featherston and Micah Sloat) move into what seems like a typical suburban "starter" tract house, they become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be somehow demonic but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially when they sleep. Or try to.
Dig on the poster below (click it to see the trailer), and check back in just a few hours as some of the release news you have been waiting for will be dropping later today, including more details on what that "Demand It" button is all about! In the meantime visit the official Paranormal Activity website.

NEXT STORY
Talcott, West Virginia - Through a wall of granite hammer strikes ring out, echoing off stone. Grunts of effort can be heard, and when people reach the end of the tunnel, they feel pain. No matter who they are, they've heard the story. To ignore such a tale would be to ignore one of the greatest heroes of the United States. And while, to many, his tale is one tall enough to be considered mere folklore, to others his is a story of triumph of the human spirit, and such is the stuff of which legends are made.

I'm not watching it. And people better be putting up spoiler warnings if they discuss.

Yes please. This movie's getting incredible word of mouth, so i'd like my experience to be as unspoiled as possible too.

This is a really smart approach. Go in knowing nothing. It's the best way to see it!

Yeah, i can't remember which Dinner For Fiends you guys talked about this movie, but ever since then i've been avoiding anything except spoiler-free reviews and updates on it's release. Working so far, lol

Hate "audience reaction" trailers. Some decent stuff in between seeing people jump and glad to see it will be playing in the Seattle area.

Trust me, that is the only way you could have possibly had a trailer for this movie. Otherwise it'd ruin the entire movie.
And holy shit! There's a clip in there of something I have not seen yet. I'm now excited more than ever to go see it again.

I just hope they haven't shown too much -- at least Oren won the battle to keep them from pulling a Quarantine.

I was almost afraid to check it out for just that reason. From what you saw should i refrain from watching it if i've already resolved to go see it anyway, or is it safe?

The less you know, the better I'd say.

Thanks. I'll hold off and hope it comes to Pittsburgh.

Whenever I see a review and all we get is the name of the site, I REALLY question the validity of that quote. Feels very "quote whorish"
