Another NECA Update

I’m not sure how many of you guys hit Comic Con this year, but one company that seemed to be way too big for its booth this year was NECA. I’m sure they’re not cheap to rent, but every single time I walked past, it was swarmed with people and almost impossible to get close to; they need something the size of Sideshow’s next year if you ask me.
One of the pieces people were swarming around was the one you see above (click it for the full image), a badass set from the upcoming prequel The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning. Whatever’s happened to that guy on the table during his time with the Hewitt family, it looks as if his troubles may be coming to an end. Or getting worse…
That pic is one of many new production shots up on NECA’s MySpace page, where a new blog has been posted with updates on all the figures they’re working on. For example, the first part of 2007 will feature the first series of Grind House figures, the Shaun of the Dead Winchester 2 pack, and toys from the animated show we’ve been telling you about for months, The Haunted World of El Superbeasto.
