First Look at Thomas Jane's Dark Country DVD Art
Thomas Jane continues to be a cool and naturally likeable screen presences and yet, for some reason, he hovers on the fringes of mainstream acceptance. His directorial debut, Dark Country was shot in 3D for theaters but, sadly, the only place we'll be checking this out is within the solitude of our living rooms.
Sony will release Jane's film (in which he co stars with Lauren German and Ron Perlman) on October 6th. According to DVD Active, extra material will include a commentary track with Jane along with the writer and producer, and a making-of featurette. No word on whether or not there will be a Blu-ray release to coincide with the SD version, but considering this is a Sony release, it's not unlikely - I'm just hoping they'll include a 3D version per the director's intention.

I've seen in it both in 3D and 2D--and had a great experience in both. it's a really fun, cool movie, I highly recommend. There's an unofficial site up with some more cool stills and alternate dvd covers if you want to check it out:
