With animated horror flicks doing pretty well lately, it was only a matter of time before Pixar threw its sombrero into the ring, and now that they have, it’s time to celebrate by painting skulls! YAY!
Variety reports that Pixar has announced its latest project in development, setting a 2015 release target for a toon based on the Mexican holiday of Dia de los Muertos.
Pixar chief John Lasseter made the announcement Tuesday evening on the CinemaCon stage, adding that Toy Story 3 director Lee Unkrich and producer Darla K. Anderson would head up the project.
