Is This The New Face of Freddy Krueger?

An interesting picture has surfaced tonight online which could be of a make-up test for Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy in the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake.

Is this the real thing? Is it even Haley under that make-up? We'll get to the bottom of it soon and let you know. In the interim check out this image from ForcesOfGeek and tell us what you think!

Nope, it's a Photoshopped pic from "Little Children." Here's a link to the original pic: http://www.moviesharkdeblore.com/assets/images/33_HaleyJackieEarle-Littl...

Umm, according to people both here at DC, and at IGN, Freddy's face was shown during the Nightmare trailer shown during the panel. Sooo... you already know the answer Uncle creepy.

Steve Barton's picture

His face was shadowed, wearing the hat. This shot could have been full on test make-up totally exposed and lit. Again, though. Proved as fake. Moving on.

Gotcha, I gotta admit, I was mostly basing my post on the fact that IGN claimed his face was shown in full post-burn after being chased down by the parents to the boiler room. Apologies, UC.
