It’s been awhile since we updated you on the slasher vs. college girls flick Sorority Party Massacre, but don’t fret. We’ve got a status update for you from the project’s producer and a first look at the flick’s poster! Read on!

“Sorority Party Massacre is officially wrapped!” producer Anthony Clementi told us today of the feature, which was written and produced by Chris Freeman (who co-directed with Justin Jones and who co-wrote last year’s feature Paranormal Incident) and which stars Kevin Sorbo (Bitch Slap!), Eve Mauro (The Steam Experiment), Ed O’Ross (The Hidden), C. Thomas Howell (The Hitcher), Leslie Easterbrook (The Devil’s Rejects), Richard Moll (House), Ron Jeremy, Yvette Yates, Marissa Skell and Tom Downey.

“It’s currently in the hands of our very talented post team, and they are truly making us see that this is one badass film,” continued Clementi. “Freeman and I recently went to Columbus, Ohio, to check in on our composer Michael Quinlan, and we were the first to hear the beginning of some of the original tracks for the movie. I have to say that everyone is in for a serious treat!” (Writer’s note: I received an aural peek at the opening track and concur, as in my opinion it was rather phenomenal).

As for when the feature is scheduled to be completed (it’s been a long, hard road since the start of principal photography; read up on that via our exclusive set visit here), Clementi stated, “We plan to have the film finished by the beginning of June.”

Stay tuned for exclusive production stills, new posters and trailers, which are all are coming soon to Dread. For more in the meantime be sure to “like” Sorority Party Massacre on Facebook and follow Sorority Party Massacre on Twitter.

Synopsis:
In danger of losing his badge, a big city detective agrees to aid a small town sheriff in a routine missing persons investigation only to discover that at least one girl has gone missing in the sheriff’s sleepy fishing town of Grizzly Cove each year for the last two decades. When a body finally emerges on the lake and suspects literally crawl out of the hills, the two lawmen realize they’re being toyed with, and to make things worse, the killer seems to have set his eyes on a group of sorority girls who are not only isolated by the lake but have their own nefarious plans in mind. Outnumbered and out of time, the two lawmen must solve the mystery of the missing girls or suffer the same fate.
