Terra Nova Star Comes Back from the Future; Moves to Hemlock Grove“Terra Nova” had a lot of problems, one of which was its poorly written characters, which was really surprising given the level of talent that was involved. That being said, one former cast member is heading to darker pastures.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Landon Liboiron (who played the teen son on the sleepy series) has been tapped to join Netflix’s original series Hemlock Grove.

The 13-episode horror show from director/executive producer Eli Roth is set in a ravaged Pennsylvania steel town and begins with the discovery of a young girl’s body.

As the crime goes unsolved and outlandish rumors mount, Roman (Bill Skarsgard) and Peter (Liboiron) decide to find the killer on their own, confronting unspeakable truths about themselves and Hemlock Grove as the mystery unfolds.

Famke Janssen is set to play Peter’s mom, Olivia, the otherworldly beautiful and controlling grande dame of Hemlock Grove.

Netflix, which abandoned talks to revive Fox’s recently canceled “Terra Nova”, will make the first season of Hemlock Grove instantly available in early 2013.

The series is based on the book by Brian McGreevy, who will write and executive produce alongside executive producers Eric Newman (The Last Exorcism, Dawn of the Dead), Lee Shipman (Harker, Zorro Reborn), Michael Connolly (How to Train Your Dragon) and Mark Verheiden (“Battlestar Galactica”).
