After endearing himself to genre fans worldwide as Lewis Denton in 2008’s The Signal, actor AJ Bowen went on to blaze a triumphant path in the world of independent horror.

He turned in star-making performances in films like The House of the Devil, Hatchet II, Chillerama as well as A Horrible Way to Die, which garnered him a Best Actor award from Fantastic Fest in 2010.

In Part Two of our video interview with Bowen for Dread Central’s Indie Horror Month, we hear more from the actor about his experiences bringing to life two of his more notable recent roles- oddball babysitter foil Victor Ulman from The House of the Devil and escaped convict and serial killer Garrick Turrell in A Horrible Way to Die.

During the interview Bowen also discusses various upcoming projects including Among Friends, Synchronicity, Silent Night of the Living Dead and The Call, on which Bowen is also serving as producer.
