Need to Earn Yourself Some Killer Green?
If you’ve ever wanted to be in a horror movie, take note of this groovy little contest because this is your chance. And the runner-up prizes aren’t bad either!
Ambergris Films, the people behind the upcoming horror flick Killer Green, want to give you the opportunity to nab a walk-on in the production.
To win, submit your personally crafted promotional photo for the movie. If you have Killer Green shirts, please feel free to sport them – they make great props. Be creative. The first two scenes of the film are still available for inspiration at David Niall Wilson’s website .
The movie involves bio-diesel, big rigs, a classic Thunderbird (1966) – an Oldsmobile Toronado – a diner, a very rural gas station, a morgue, a desert, and Peyote Slims, a bar & grill on a remote highway. Use your imagination!
And if you want to step it up and show these folks just how badly you want to be a part of Killer Green, you can enter the contest another way: Use that same information in a bit more high-tech fashion and create a fan trailer for the movie. Act out a scene. Make up a scene or a bunch of bits of scenes. Put together your best trailer for the movie, upload it to YouTube, and they’ll embed it, along with the submitted photos, on the Killer Green web page (live soon).
Now, if you’re worried about going through all that effort to get the golden goose egg, fear not! There are some nifty consolation prizes to help with your incentive! You can nab one of two copies of the original web version of the screenplay, signed by the writer, David Niall Wilson. Up for grabs also are copies of David Niall Wilson’s novels Ancient Eyes and The Not Quite Right Reverend Cletus J. Diggs & The Accepted Habits of Nature, out-of-print pieces, both hand-signed and numbered by the writer.
Most cool, however, is the opportunity to be a character in Wilson’s next book or screenplay. The winner will work with the author to create the character prior to writing.
Be sure to check out Ambergris Films for further contest details, and keep checking back with us for the latest and greatest on this upcoming horror flick, which was birthed on Twitter (click here for how it all went down).
